Since the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is the primary source for water conservation alerts, we thought it appropriate to provide a link to their website.

The NTMWD is a conservation and reclamation district and political subdivision of the State of Texas to aquire, treat, and distribute potable water.  Also to collect, treat and dispose of wastes, both liquid and solid, in order to reduce pollution, conserve and develop the natural resources of Texas.

The primary mission of the District is to meet the various needs of the member and customer cities.  Since the City of Forney is impacted by the NTMWD, we include a link to their website here.

This website includes a link to the Texas Water Development Board lake status within the state, water conservation tips, invasive species alerts (zebra mussels) and much more.
